General Info & Registration

1. Where do I register to play the game?
You can register by going to the following URL: http://register.gpotato.com/?m=register&a=registration
2. Will this game be FREE forever?
Yes. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
3. Where do I download the game?
You are able to download the game client from our Rappelz website at http://rappelz.gpotato.com/?m=downloads.
4. I have an account in Flyff. Do I need to register again to play Rappelz?
No! You don’t need to register again, your account in Flyff will work in Rappelz, so you can go right on ahead and download and start playing without filling out any more forms.
5. I didn’t get my activation email!
Since you only have three hours from when you create the account to activate it, the account has most likely already been deleted. You should go back to: http://register.gpotato.com/?m=register&a=registration and try again. There are three possible reasons that you might not get the activation email:

  1. Your email provider may be blocking gala-net.com with its spam blocker. [update: This is a CONFIRMED problem with Hotmail]
  2. Your email provider is experiencing delays. This is a common problem with international email.
  3. Earthlink has a special spam filter that forces people sending emails to Earthlink users to go to a website and provide a reason they’re sending the email. Our system cannot do this automatically. You will have to allow emails from the @gala-net.com domain in through your control panel.

If you continue to experience these problems, you might want to try setting up an account with a free email provider (such as Yahoo Mail or Hotmail) and try again, and then register your new account to the new email.

By the way, if your account still exists for some reason, my recommendation is to create a new account under a different email. Your account name is not seen by players, (except for on the message boards) so it does not matter what it is.

6. Why aren’t signatures working on the message board?
Signatures have been deactivated for now.
7. I’m trying to create an account, but my username is invalid.
Your username must be all lowercase, and may only contain letters and numbers.

Game Information

1. How do I obtain a creature for a pet?
There are Merchant NPC’s in each town who sell creature cards for low level pets. Once you have purchased one of these cards, and have the taming skill active, you must defeat the same type of creature on the card. Once the creature is defeated, the creature will become your pet.

Also, you can obtain a creature card by hunting mobs in the game. When the creature drops a creature card you can defeat the same creature again to make them your pet.

2. How do I gain new skills?
You can purchase new skills by using Job points (JP) by earning them through hunting monsters and completing quests. New skills will become available as you increase your Job level.

Note: Your Job level can not surpass your character level.

3. What is the Condition System?
The Condition System allows you to earn more EXP and JP based on how much stamina your character has. The higher your stamina the more EXP and JP you will receive by hunting monsters.
4. How do I increase my stamina?
You can restore your stamina by resting or drinking Stamina potions. If you are in town, the rate in which your stamina increases will be higher. Also, your character will automatically gain stamina when you log off.
5. Does my creature use stamina or have a Condition System?
No, your creature does not use stamina and is not affected by the Condition System.

now you can browse the site and the item shop is within your web browser – no annoying small pop up with tons of pages to sort thru! This includes a search!
